That’s what it says. (I don’t know who was first or second.) I expect they were still first per capita.

Just checked. They were third this year with 36. Third last year with 37. First in 2006 with 34.

Thanks for checking. Good luck with the mini-you at AU!

bonbear, if it makes a difference AU’s Washington College of Law is right there, and might give you an edge down the road…

Having the Law School “right there” will do nothing for you. AU, like all law schools, want a diverse class (meaning where the students were undergrad) and AU students have no edge getting in.

Yes, but it can’t hurt having WCL so close, and may even color OP’s view of law as the next step…

“Thanks for checking. Good luck with the mini-you at AU!.”

I have two d.'s, one graduating from Smith and taking up a graduate fellowship at Princeton, the other headed to AU. The Smithie would never find what she needed at AU, the Eagle would never find what she needed at Smith. I think Colby would be an even more extreme case. There are students, of course, who would get a good education at either, but it would be a profoundly different education.

Thanks so much everyone - I decided to go to Colby College. And I always have the choice to transfer to American…they have a lot of transfer students and I can still get the scholarship if I transfer. Thanks again and good luck to everyone.
