<p>What's your opinion on LOST so far? On that note, which candidate do you think is going to replace Jacob?
I think the ending is going to be an epic battle between the MIB and Jacob's Army.</p>
<p>Last episode was best of the season. Next best two were probably Dr. Linus and The Substitute. Then Sundown. Recon was boring. </p>
<p>EXCITED TO SEE HOW THIS ENDS. Maybe no candidate will replace Jacob. So, what do you make of this whole eternal/philosophical/biblical struggle between MIB and Jacob?</p>
<p>Tuesday’s episode was probably the best written since the series began: it actually could have been the series finale imo…</p>
<p>the entire story b/t MIB and Jacob/black v white/good v evil since beginning of time…agree with chocbanana; i don’t think anyone should replace Jacob…</p>
<p>Ab Aeterno was amazing. Richard was always one of the most interesting characters, so of course his flashback episode was amazing. And it was just good to get back to the flashbacks, to the dark entity and Jacob again.</p>
<p>I can’t really think of any candidate who is fitting to replace Jacob. They’re all attached, with things to do elsewhere. Or they’re not just.</p>
<p>Do you guys theorize? I look at a lot of stuff, like lost-media’s screen caps, DarkUFO’s closeups. I used to read Vozzek’s theories but they’re awful. Oh, and Lostpedia is the best thing in the world.</p>

<p>TBH, I think Hurley will replace Jacob. After Locke, he was most connected with the island and he can communicate with Jacob.</p>
<p>On another note, I agree and disagree. Tuesday’s episode was phenomenal, but Dr. Linus was a BRILLIANT episode. I loved the flash-sideways and the content n the actual island. Oh, and Michael Emerson is a brilliant actor.</p>
<p>And Nestor Carbonell (sp?) isn’t a great actor? I contend that he is, especially in last episode. Terry O’Quinn is also an awesome actor. </p>
<p>I would NOT be happy if this was the series finale…not at all.</p>

<p>On another note, I don’t like Hurley that much as well. I despise Kate and Sun, am annoyed of Sawyer and am… content with Hurley. I thought he was a pretty cool character in the beginning of the show and his centric episodes were usually fantastic. Now, his character is starting to bore me but I still like him more than half the characters on the show.</p>
<h2>The reason he’s likely to take over Jacob because he seems much more caring for the island and has a calmer persona than the other characters.</h2>

Almost definitely Sun, I’m not sure about Jin.</p>
<p>By “not feeling Hurley,” I meant not feeling him as THE candidate. I like him just fine, as he often provides necessary comic relief. And he’s been good the past couple of episodes. And in the past. I LIKE HIM!</p>

<p>the last episode was definitely the best. </p>
<p>I don’t really like Hurley. I never really found him that funny, just kinda annoying. I usually found Sawyer really funny, but that’s before he got all serious and preppy and/or emo. </p>
<p>I think the one to replace Jacob will be either Jack or Sawyer. Jack because he grew the most out of the whole group, and the whole show involved him growing and progressing to let go of his skepticism and become more in tune with the island. Sawyer because he’s kind of like Jack’s nemesis, and since the whole show, he’s the one who has been affected the most by the island. Before, he was a criminal and conman, but the island changed him to become more respectable, more honest, and happier with himself.</p>
<p>I hope Kate dies soon.</p>

<p>And I don’t like Sawyer. He’s annoying and too focused on leaving the isaland. Besides, he joined the MIB. </p>

<p>I, frankly, thought it was boring. We still don’t know who the candidate is and Sun and Jin didn’t reunite. On the other hand, the flash sideway stuff was interesting. I’ll give it a 7/10.</p>
<p>Desmond! That’s about it…Sun/Jin was kind of meh and the I-can’t-speak-English-now thing was dumb…kind of a screeching halt after the whirlwind that was last episode…6/10.</p>

<p>I was discussing The Package a bit earlier. I gave it an 8/10. Sun/Jin epies get dissed a lot, but they’re probably most consistently my faves.
Flash sideways was the best in a long time, especially since Keamy was there, but I agree that the on island developments weren’t particularly exciting.
Do you guys think that Sun and Jin are destined to not raise a child together? The way that Sayid and Nadia seem to be destined to never be together?</p>

<p>IDK, Sun and Jin were just booooooring compared to Richard, Ben, John Locke’s…even Sawyer’s flash-sideways to me…but it seemed like a good-set up for the FEW EPISODES LEFT!</p>
