<p>"Lost in the sea of admission"...ok..I am dork..anywho, do you guys think that someone with really low stats can get into..err i dont know..rice university [my dream college] if they have a good essay? </p>

<p>i wrote two additional essay and if you guys want to read then pm me on aim...</p>

<p>hopefully rice will accept me if i have a good essay [thats where all my cc ppl come in]...and i hope my stats wont kill me that much...ouch! they are low!</p>

<p>Assuming a GPA of 1.0 and an SAT of 800, you will not get in. How should anyone know what your chances are without some stats? Most will have good essays, it will certainly not get you in, for all they know you could've had it written for you...</p>

<p>whoa! stats not that low...lets just say they are average for collegebound students but below for rice.</p>

<p>If you have anywhere below a 1300 and 3.6ish (outside the top 10%) I would say no go without a major hook like sports or legacy.</p>
