Lost junior with a question about the summer...

I'm a junior in high school this year looking for a good, prestigious summer program/internship/research/credit-earning opportunity that has an application deadline yet to expire. I have scoured the internet for the past several weeks to no avail-- I have a list of several possible programs but many of them are very lengthy (as far as their duration goes), and unfortunately I can't afford to take more than three weeks away this summer. I'm now at a point of desperation!

I have good academic credentials and extracurricular activities, and I love science and writing, but not necessarily math. (Not looking for a math camp.)

I thought I might try the parent forum because parents are experienced and knowledgeable about this sort of thing--do any of you have sons or daughters that have attended any such programs? I'm open to and grateful for any suggestions.

If you need to know more details about my credentials/academic record, just let me know.

Thanks so much!

Look at Cornell Summer College. Three and six week programs.

what state do you live in ?

Have you ruled out everything on this list? [usummer pre-college programs portal - Programs](http://www.usummer.com/programs.html)
