lost letter of recommendation?

So anyway Columbia's site says they haven't received my one letter of recommendation, although I know that it's been sent (all the other colleges have received both). So I'm filling out a new recommendation form and I have to sign and date it.

What should I date it as? If I date it as today, will that look bad? I turned in my application nearly a month before the deadline, and my first recommendation was received then as well. Or should I date it as the date that my others were sent?

If you haven't already, call to make sure that they haven't received it (sometimes they don't update that information on the database quickly).

If it turns out that you do need to re-submit it, write across the top of the form, "replacement copy of recommendation sent December 10 (whenever it was) but not received."

Yea, but it is still early. If it was mailed in the last week, it is probably just sitting in their mailroom.

Columbia's site? Where do they have that information?
