I am really having trouble finding colleges to apply to. I want to major in either accounting or finance, but cannot figure out a good variety of safeties, matches and reaches. Can someone please give me suggestions and why?

Will you need Financial Aid?

no but some would be prefered

You qualify for the automatic 9k/year scholarship at Indiana University. It’s a safety (they admit based on numbers) and has one of the best business schools in the country. Ranked 12th overall, 7th for accounting and 9th for finance.

Look at the University of Miami, they have very good merit aid, a great business program, and a top-notch placement program.

The undergraduate business program at the UM School of Business is ranked No. 26 in the nation for the academic quality of its program in BusinessWeek magazine’s annual rankings of the nation’s best undergraduate business programs.

I agree. Wake Forest is a great school for undergraduate business. If you have any questions, PM me. Maybe Notre Dame for another school to look at too.

Temple University has a decent business program. You can consider it a safety.

Do you think I have any chance at NYU (stern)? I really liked the vibe of the surrounding are when i went there. I think colleges that are really number based would be the ones accepting me. What schools really have number based programs? I am researching all your suggestions. so thanks alot.
