Lost/Stolen I.D.

So...

Okay, while studying in my local public library -which happens to be on the wrong side of town- I decided it would be a good idea to flaunt an expensive pair of sunglasses and my cash-full wallet. "Long story short," I no longer have an expensive pair of sunglasses or a wallet. And normally I would not really care, but...my wallet had my driver's license and student I.D. inside.

My passport expired, like, last month without my noticing. My question to you, dear CCers, is if the temporary I.D. card that the DMV gives out when you register for a new license will be sufficient for Saturday?

It'll have all relevant info, my picture, and an official stamp on it; it's just made of cheap paper.

Thanks for reading. Sorry for being a bother.

(And for those of you who might care, no, I was not, like, hurt. I was stupid enough to leave my stuff out on a desk while I went around the corner to throw away some scratch paper.)

just use another id

The answer to this, for future reference, is a clear, definitive “no.” Time to go get an SAT I.D. form notarized!

Can’t your school issue another student id? Usually they will charge a small fee but get it generated right away from their computer.
