lost usb with college essay!

<p>so i lost my usb with all my college essays....
I have copies on my computer, but im more concerned about the fact that someone else could potentially have all my essays and use them or try to copy from them. what do i do??? how do i ensure that colleges know that these are my essays???</p>

<p>my opinion is that your more likely to be struck by lighting than for that to become an issue.</p>
