Oh I should have updated that. Nope. I didn’t even make the waitlist. Quite saddening :(.

Summer ventures (run by the same people) did take me but I’m returning the favor in turning them down. Only slightly because I hold a grudge. More because I’m opting to go to TASS this summer.

I have a few friends that got rejected too, none waitlisted. I heard that there were very few waitlisted this year, preferring to leave the door open for appeals.

I got into summer ventures also but I don’t really want to go.

I appealed but I don’t think anything will come of it. Oh well, I’ll live. I really would go to Summer Ventures if it wasn’t for TASS it does look like a bit of fun but um… as for colleges, how should I sort through that, which in particular should I look into for physics (and/or biology)?

this site should help! Its by the princeton review, and it will give insight on matches, safeties, reaches, etc.

moodragonx, wow…i was reading your stats and its like im reading about myself! we have the same gpa (weighted and unweighted), the same psat score and similar ec’s! im kind of in the same place that you are-wanting to aim high but still apprehensive about my own credibility. all i can say is that right now, im focusing on doing the best in high school, getting into legit summer programs, blowing ap exams out of the water and just taking it one step at a time.
