<p>:( Parking is really a serious problem at UCLA. Can't they come up with a solution of some sort? Whatever the case, I really hope I get either lot 7 or 4 next year. I would really like to have underground parking. </p>

<p>Lots 4 and 7 are underground and are underneath ashe/IM fields, respectively. </p>
<p>SV is a normal structure. </p>
<p>Most of the lots except for 11, 36, and a few of the small ones are all covered somehow, either by being underground or in a regular structure.</p>

I drive all the way from downtown, and I need to walk to south campus, while those on-campus people get 4 and 7.</p>
<p>Most on campus people get SV or 11, not 4 and 7. 4 and 7 is largely commuter.</p>
<p>^ Which is puzzling. If I'm a commuter (from the valley), why did I get SV and not 4 or 7. Anyways, as long as it is a structure and not an open lot, I'm satisfied. More walking = more exercise, I guess.</p>
