I need some one experienced with Bus Econ please :)
I have quite a few questions

1) What is the best UC/ California school to take business economics at that ISNT Berkeley or UCLA, either of which I will not be able to get into, I only have a 3.66 gpa :(

2) UCI's BA program that just came out is confusing me- was there already a Bus Econ program there? If so could some one help me find stats about transferring into it, would it be possible with my GPA or no? (Because I know the Business Admin program is new and only accepts 15 transfer students, none of whom will be me)

3) If I only have 24 units complete prior to this semester they won't consider my high school units they'll consider my college units right? (I am taking 18 units this semester and 18 next semester)

4) Got any other general advice for me and my business econ career/school path?

Thank you so much in advance for helping!

EDIT: I wish I named this something more intelligent... what a crappy title.

If you really want to do Econ and go to UCLA, I would suggest applying as Math/Econ.

Even if you don’t have all the math pre-reqs for it, as long as you at least have two semester of calc, you’ll have a fighting chance. Of course the more pre-reqs you have, the better.

No, the UCI bizecon is fairly easy to get into, the UCI business administration major is only taking around 15 students, not bizecon. You should be fine with 3.66 with most prereqs completed by spring of transfer.

True PSM, but the BA degree is new- there can only be 150 students enrolled in it this semester, it is a brand new division of the school and is therefore only accepting a small amount of students…

I don’t really want to go to UCI its my back up - can some one help me chose a better college for Bus Econ?

Whats the difference between Business Administration and Business Econ? To be honest, I only chose Business as a practical major; please don’t chastise me :P.
