Lots of Stanford Questions!

Hey everyone! I’m doing a college search project at my school, and would really appreciate it if you could help me out with certain criteria i need to find:

are there any metropolitan centers near Stanford?

what are things the town and surrounding communities offer? (i.e. good restaurants, movies, clubs)

what entertainment does the campus offer?

what are the placement statistics into grad school (where do undergrads get into, how much help do they get in getting into top grad schools, does Stanford take its own undergrads)

what are the placement statistics into jobs/internships as a 4-year grad? will Stanford help its students get an internship?

how successful are Stanford’s grads in the real world?

does Stanford have a placement center for either International Relations or Biology?

what is the placement rate for I/R and Biology into grad schools?

are there any I/R and/or Biology professors who have received honors and awards?

is there a support system for graduates?

are there any possibilities of classes and exchanges with nearby colleges?

are there any opportunities in related majors to I/R and Biology?

what is housing like at Stanford? what are the different housing possibilities, and how are they different?

wow~ i know that was a lot of questions to answer.
thanks for all your help! :)

i’m sure if you google these you’ll be able to find at least 3/4 of these, if not all of them…

San Jose and SF are short train rides away.

Downtown Palo Alto is good–lots of restaurants/stores/etc.

Grad school and internship placement is top-notch–check cdc.stanford.edu. (Internship networks, high % going to grad school, etc.) This is also the support system for graduates.

Obviously, Stanford’s grads are very successful–check the stats at the CDC. Also, check out famous alumni.

There are exchange/class options at other colleges.

For faculty info, check the websites for the respective departments, look at the faculty pages, and check out their bios/curriculum vitae (if they have it up). Most have awards. These department sites also have info on opportunities for majors and non-majors in the area.

Check out housing.stanford.edu for info on housing. 80 different undergraduate residences, lots of options, etc.

no i will not do your school project for you. begone with you, i say.
