Lotterty Number FPF

…the “lottery” part of the process suggests that the numbers are assigned randomly, but housing offers are given starting from the number 1.

what you’re suggesting is like a lottery on top of another lottery…which makes little sense

i thought what the lottery (random) part was how the numbers were assigned…then the dorm assignment occurred in numerical order…did i get it wrong?

no I think Hunterbender is confused. the dorm assignment definitely is supposed to occur in numerical order.

holdontoyourkite is right…

i think im just gonna go for off-campus housing because even if im guaranteed housing somewhere, the only dorms im willing to live in are the units. and seeing as those are the most popular, there probably is little chance there will be room for me

you can also call the res hall number and ask: (510) 642-4108

mine is 253… things aren’t looking too good, but i’ll hope for the best

yay! I just found out my lottery number is 19!!!

Does this mean my offer will come in the first batch? (Friday).

Whoo! My lottery number is 74!

Good luck to those who have high numbers.

BTW just so you guys know, a lot of you guys will be placed in Bowles and a lot you girls will be placed in Stern.

I was in FPF in Fall 2007. I was placed in Bowles, and a ton of other FPF males were too. BTW I am returning to Bowles this year as a mentor (an upperclassmen resident in Bowles). Bowles is a great place

129! wooh, out of 600 that ain’t bad.

How do you guys know that there are 500/600 lottery number spots? Do you guys know what lottery number they went up to today for the housing offers?

Ok. Yeah. I was confused. >.>
