Lotto # 4,542 what are my options?

At this point i know that suites and apartments are out of the question (i think?) and i was wondering what my options could be for doubles =/ What is the best i can do as far as my number goes?

I think you have a good chance at the doubles cutoff but no one can predict what will be available or what the cutoff will be this year.

I think you need to apply with someone for a double. I’m not sure how the wait list works if you are looking for a single spot in a double.

Yeah, that doesn’t sound very good =( anyone else?

I think you can make the doubles cutoff. You should apply with someone, but if you can’t… I’m sure you can try facebook for people needing an extra person.

I think that’s a fair number for a double. Try RoommateClick for a roommate. It does seem weird, but we managed to find a sixth for our suite last year. (which didn’t work out, but only cause our number was too high)

Have a look here. A few people have posted that they are looking for roommates. Have a backup plan in case. For ex. if you join a suite group and don’t make the cutoff, talk beforehand about who may want to double with you and apply for that if you need to.

You should be fine with a double. Im trying to get an apartment on Busch and I have a 1432 or something like that and even Im worried we wont get it.

Is that for the housing lottery? How do you already know your number?

hiachiever lottery numbers were given out at the end of January for upperclassmen. If you are a freshman, you apply to housing when the application comes out. You do not pick your room, only make a campus preference.

Ohh. Gotcha. Okay, I’m an incoming freshman. Thanks!
