Loughborough University (UK School)

Can anyone give me some information about students from the US applying to Lborough?
It's been hell to get information about USA students. I did send them an email, but am awaiting a response.

I'd like to know if I have a good shot of getting in (For Electrical and Electronic Engineering).

Here are my qualifications to date:
GPA: 3.66
SAT Score: 2070
Verbal: 690
Math: 700
Writing: 680
ACTs: To be announced. I'm expecting around a 31-32 total.
SAT IIs:
Mathematics Level 1: 750
Mathematics Level 2: 700
US. History: 680
Literature: 650

As to APs.. They are only offered here in this school in years 11 and 12
AP Latin: Vergil - Unreleased as of now. Positive of a 4, very possibly a 5.
Next Year
AP English
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics B. <-- This I'm taking through the MIT delve program.

Schools in the UK don't look at EC, so I won't list those. I may speak a bit about my experiences in my personal statement. I'll face that when I come to it.

Is there any information you guys can give me about the school specifics? It seems lovely thus far, but as said, it's been hell to find firsthand accounts / experiences.

lol, cool name. hard to pronounce.

I think you have a decent shot. :)

I received information from them, I was considering the UK because I am an IB student, and was going to apply on the diploma. It did take a couple days to receive the info, but it was faster than some of the schools I am considering here.

Since your SAT score is 30 points shy from what Oxbridge wants, and you are taking the AP Calc and Physics, your application looks very strong. Good Luck!

\m/

I’m also considering
U Surrey
U Edinburgh
U Southampton

Thoughts on those? (IE: Match/Reach/Safety)
