Fellows,
Cornell is always my lover!! Sometimes love don't need reason, just accepting each others in our hearts right?

I applyed to Cornell in 2010, ED, REJECTED!! So I decided to transfer.
Now I'm admitted by USC, Umich, I want to transfer to cornell after my first year and now I need your help.
I have a major of economics, and I will finally engage in Business. Umich has a better Business school than Cornell, USC stands in large city and may have more abundant resources. But to neither of them will I devote my entire heart to. I still love Cornell.

Do you think it worth for me to transfer from Umich or USC to Cornell for Business pursuit? If so, what should I do in my first year in order to make me more likely to get admitted?

You’re seriously seriously setting yourself up for a great fall. Don’t fetishize Cornell. Enjoy UMich or USC. They will have enormous offerings that you’ll overlook because you think your heart is in Ithaca. Plus there’s no indication whatsoever that you’ll be a viable transfer candidate Most transfer successes tend to have a litany of Ivy accepts in their back pocket but decline Cornell for one reason or another (e.g. kid turns down a Cornell accept to attend state school at big scholarship, decides to transfer to Cornell later). Your rejection in the Cornell ED round puts you at a disadvantage for future transfer chances.

Yeah, t26e4, maybe you are right! My heart is always in Ithaca, at least now. I’m sure I will cherish my first year in USC or umich, as you say, they may surprise me!
I really haven’t thought about the history of denying, thx for your advice!
