<p>I think lust is the human desire for immediate satisfaction/pleasure, and the desire to go at a person. Love is when you set that aside and listen more to other things like moral emotions, a long-term relationship, a desire to stay with a significant other, etc. I guess the difference is immediate gratification vs. patience + time.</p>
<p>Lust isn’t bad. It’s a human characteristic to lust, since our main instinct, other than surviving, is to reproduce. So while it’s not bad, too much of it can warp your mind and then become harmful.</p>
