I think I am in love with MIT.

Just from the application process.
It was so... painless.
And organized.
And just ... nice.

rightttttt

:o

oh god someone spilled sappy sentiment just everywhere.

No, really. I read the cover sheet of the app and it was so FRIENDLY.
It made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Way to burst my bubble, guys.

heh yea Marilee Jones has been taking steps to make the app more friendly i heard. About the love thing...I heard some good advice from an admissions rep at a college I visited. Don't fall in love with a school, fall in like.

I have to agree about the application. After I finished skimming through it the first time, it just made me happy. Hehe, I remember especially the time I went around telling everyone how awesome it was, and how you actually get s p a c e to explain activites and such. :)

"Don't fall in love with a school, fall in like."

How could it be love? You've probably never even had the chance to meet the entity! (Much less gotten to known them on an intimate level...) Are pretty colored papers, blogs, and spam enough to woo potential lovers?

Four years is a long engagement. ;)

I understand your sentiments completely. For my creative writing class, we were supposed to write a love poem... I wrote an ode to MIT.

I thought about sending it to them if I got deferred, fortunately they accepted me early and spared me the embarassment. ^_^

for our spanish class we had to write odes. I wrote an ode to arranged marriage. Biatch.

I was forced to write an ode once. I wrote it to my Ti-83+ :)

omG i totally know what you mean....

the application was by far one of the best apps i did!! and i applied to 20+ schools...lol. Well, rice's was easier though..lol.
