i wouldnt worry too much, 670 isnt bad but it isnt great either. if you have A's in bio at school i would recommend that you just keep it, since your grades make up for it. have your bio teacher write you a rec. too, that would definetley overshadow the score. plus, i dont even think there is time to take it again. btw where do you want to go to school?

thanks for your answer SexyYetiBeast
I'm applying to Swarthmore, Duke, JHU, UChicago, Case Western, GRinnell...I'm not getting my bio teacher to write my rec though

bold schools - hope your gpa, extras are strong.

oh and you go to exeter. i hate your school - preps suck

If you go to Exeter (private schools that have a recognizable name will most likely have strong connections to tough schools) you have a good chance...I want to be a bio major and I scored a lowly 660 on bio e (freshmen yr.). I am retaking, but only 2 of the colleges I apping to will take it into consideration :(

Good luck and may the force be with you

why do you have such low scores if you go to exeter?

SAT 2s are not a good way of testing knowledge...I think the AP exams are a much better indictator of college success.

If username1 goes to exeter he prolly did nasty on his SSATs so I think he has the mental capacity to do well, but maybe just had a bad test. Definitely retake.
