low ? BIO SAT II score

I got a 760 on the SAT II Bio, should i take it again?

stop it

sorry....you're kidding right though?

I hope your kidding. And btw, we're both from Oregon and have the same birthday according to your info. I'm just a year older.

ur patronizing people who got lower than 760....-_-
i feel bad now

What is that, 98th percentile? Don't be a jerk.

i'm pretty sure they're kidding. because people that annoying don't exist. or do they?

Seriously. Everyone here needs to get over this whole fake modesty thing.

Of course you should. I got a 2400 on BioE. Most ppl are too stupid to see the problems written in invisible ink on the margins of the test booklet.

Oh yeah... I saw those too.

lol :) <2 funny>

Hey man i feel your pain. I just got a 760 on the Bio Sat, and i thought i would get a 780 or above. I would have retaken it, but my parents arent willing to spend 30 more dollars on a second try. Btw im a freshman, so everyone at school thinks i am a genius but my mom is disappointed.

xD guys chill seriously. to the OP, 760 is a very high score. don’t bother retaking

I thought you couldn’t retake a SATII.

Hey guys, don’t beat him up. I don’t think he means to be annoying; he is just aware that the scope of the competition is such that even people with SAT I = 800/800/800 and SAT II 800/800/800 get rejected without a second thought. OP, I don’t know much, but I reckon a 760 is great; having said that, given the level of competition these days, some people see anything under an 800 as not being enough to get into say an Ivy League.

Wow. I just got a notification for a response to the thread. It’s been a while since I posted that, but in case anybody was wondering I was sincere at the time. I’ve since graduated from ND and am headed to vandy for med school this year. I’m not here to brag, but to say in retrospect a 760 on the Bio SAT II didn’t matter in the end. In high school I was so stressed on these academics that I thought a 760 wasn’t good enough! Geez. Yes academics are important and you should never sell yourself short but looking back my best advice would be do your best and take time to enjoy life. I certainly didn’t in high school, and I regret it. Fortunately I learned to in college and I had the time of my life. I won’t lie, I did some stalking on SDN from time to time during the med application process but I didn’t let the numbers game get to me like it did in high school. Theres no shame in wanting to be the best, but its not productive to beat oneself up about not doing so (imo.) I know its easy for me to say being further down the path, but really if you have the motivation (esp. passionate), are hard working, and have a modicum of intelligence you will get where you want to go. Sorry for ranting but that’s just the way I feel almost 6 years later. Peace guys.
