I applied 3 weeks ago to UT hoping to major in Physics. My class rank is pathetic, but I’ve noticed that my test scores are decent. I was wondering what you guys thought about my chances. I’m applying to other schools as well, but it would be a dream to go to UT.

  • New SAT: 1350 -- M:670 W&R: 680
  • AP Scholar with Distinction
  • Band - 3 Years - All-District First Chair Bass Trombone
  • Tennis - 3 Years - 2 Years Varsity - All-District Varsity Team
  • Academic Decathlon - 2 Years - 3rd Varsity in Region - 8th Varsity in State
  • UIL Current Events
  • Rotary Youth Leadership Award District 5810
  • Pretty good essays IMO

Make sure to submit recommendation letters as well. Your class will impact you Academic Index but you can’t do anything about it now. Your ACT score and essays should help you. All the best!
