Low College GPA

Long story short i had a 3.0 gpa by the beginning of my sophmore year at college. For a whole year I was being harrassed which led to my downfall of a 2.5 by the end of my sophmore year. What’s the higest I can get it assuming I get all A’s? It was a traumatic year for me.

If you get a 4.0 this year it will go back up to a 3.0. That’s assuming you take the same number of credits each year. If you’ll take more credits it will be higher and if less, it will be lower.

It will depend in part on how many credits you have taken and how many credits you will take this year.

There are many GPA calculators online (easily found using google), you can make a quick spreadsheet on excel to figure it out, or if you want to go old school you can calculate it using paper and pencil.

I really hope you are not taking courses that require algebra.

^ Unnecessarily snippy. It’s pretty simple when all years have the same amount of credits, but as soon as you introduce some complications, it can easily become confusing. Especially for someone who doesn’t eat, sleep, and breathe math. I had to seriously learn how to calculate GPA around sophomore year or so of college. Wasn’t obvious to me. And I’m in chemical engineering.

^ Was legit concern for his well-being. If alebgra is OP’s weak spot then taking courses that require it will only hurt their GPA.
