<p>Euroazn - wow. I really have to ask - in a school like our school, where getting a high gpa is so easy due to grade inflation, how did this happen? I thought when you said low you meant like 3.7ish. seriously - what happened?</p>
<p>B’s in classes I don’t care about… it sucks I get all A’s on tests but I’m not motivated when the teachers give literally busy work. When I say I hate school, I mean it. I love learning, but our school just corrupts the principle and converts us into a (mostly asian) frenzy/AP factory.</p>
<p>W/e. And inflation/deflation isn’t actually that high, I was quite surprised… my rank is like 20% (I thought it was much lower at first).</p>

<p>Just playing a little devil’s advocate, but if I were an admission’s official, I don’t think I would be too pleased with those kinds of statements (of course you probably didn’t say you hate school in your application), busy work is a part of any public school, and doing it is simply a matter of work ethic and discipline, there are bound to be times in life when “busy” work is mandatory for a job or other goal. Thats my two cents.</p>

out of curiosity, how are you guys getting a weighted gpa? as in, what is the weight that is being added in? (like does ap=5, etc.)</p>

The thing is, your school has deflated GPA. That’s not going to negatively impact you.</p>
