So yeah… this isn’t everything, but it’s probably over-spam anyway. And I know that chances don’t even mean anything. I’m just so bored and nervous… ahhhhh less than three weeks until the first result comes back!!!

See what I did thar? Bumpity ;)

Yes. There are more!
'Course he is a URM, but still…

what would you guys say?

International Student
URM
3.67 uw
top 13%
Sat- 1910 (I know this seems extremely low for penn but it is currently the highest score in my entire school. For my country it’s a very good score)
Extracurrics-great
recs- awesome, super kick a**
essays- really good but not excellent

I went the Leadership in the Business World program and set up a meeting with the regional admissions director and personally invited him to my school, he accepted.

URM = 3.5GPA = Okay!

-___- Leave URMs out of the equation.

Okay, people here who have a weighted GPA over 4.0 or an unweighted over 3.7, seriously ■■■■ and stop freaking out because you have a good chance. Like seriously? Some of the threads on here are ridiculous…an SAT scores thats 2000+, ACT scores thats 30+, and a gpa above what I listed is like in the top 75% range. Chill.

^Those people left a long time ago, lol.

This person made it, not sure if wharton or not: [Stats Profile](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/profiles/member_stat_view.html?user_id=264541)

Not to burst your bubble but that dude was a legacy, so that might have something to do with it.

Oh, I know! It’s almost always something - legacy, urm, athlete… but it still makes us feel just a bit better :)

LEAVE US LOW GPA’ERS BE D:

My gpa is 3.66 uw but I’m top 7% with a 5.43 w out of 6…Will that hurt me? My school just has difficult classes.

I’M SO NERVOUS!
i do hope that on the tenth i get REJECTED and not deferred, because if i get deferred…

ahh, this thread somewhat makes me feel better.

my UW GPA: 3.7, W GPA: 3.85 (no honor/AP classes offered for my freshman/sophomore year)
Rank: Top 14%
SAT: 2300

an ORM, yet an international (once again… over-represented. haha)
no hooks whatsoever. greaaaaat.

Anyone else for the class of 2016 in the same situation as me? I hope I’m not alone /:

can a high GPA, low SAT 2-er join in here? I know they forgive low SAT 1s not-so-uncommonly, but I heard they’re stricter about SAT 2s. So count me in for the “I think I shot myself in the foot with this element of my application” boat.

I have a pretty low SAT II math score :/

GPA: 3.7 UW (ahah dear lord) 4.25 W (slightly better)
EDIT: Top 20% of school. To be precise, I’m like… Top 12%… But that still goes down as top 20%.
SAT: 2260 (aoiwejfowaijiawj)
Lots of ECs
Lots of leadership roles
ORM

Fingers crossed! We got this guys.

@born2dance94 gahh I hope they’re not strict about SAT IIs, I took the ACT but then have really bad subject test scores and had to send them in anyway…

@idksilly wow we have really similar stats, except my school doesn’t rank/we don’t weigh our scores. I’m guessing you’re asian too?

@nemo: I am I am! Haha. What are your stats?
