Would a 3.64 final junior gpa with straight A's in junior year and a 2200 SAT score and good ec's still be good enough for any of the ba/md or bs/md programs? Also, would only one C in geometry look terrible? It was a stupid screw up and I highly regret it.

Your gpa and sat is like mine, you should be able to stand a good chance, just write your essays well

That 3.64 GPA is looking really weak man and that C in geom....

Wherever I went for interviews, people had wighter GPAs about 4.4 or higher, so you might want to address that discrepancy.

Your SAT score is great tho... I got a 2210, and I think it worked fine for me =)

And like what "illinois187" said, write your essays really well, and just try your best and see what happens. Worst comes to worst, you'll still go to a good college and most probably still go to med school, as long as you dont **** up undergrad =D

Good luck!!

I agree. And it's something to address in your essays: growth. It's a good thing to write about come college time.

Well in my freshman year, it was a semester grading so for the first semester, I got an A and for the second semester I got a C.

anyone else??

1.) Don't address it yourself. Talk to your GC and have him or her mention it in their recommendation. (Only if you have a legitimate reason for getting a C). Do not waste your essays by using it as a reason to make excuses that, unless they are something serious like you becoming incredibly ill and missing a year of school, colleges won't care about. Your essays are you opportunity to let colleges know that you are an interesting person who can add to the diversity of the class.

2.) Your GPA is fine. Junior year is the most important year. As long as you maintain all A's and are taking a difficult courseload you will be fine.

3.) What's your 1600 SAT score? Also, don't forget about SAT II's.

4.) Do you have leadership positions?

I would still aplly, that is a great sat score
