For transfer
I was going to tag like 4 different UCs but i made a mistake on the TAG application and only submitted one to UCSB and realized this right after the deadline.

I have a 3.1 GPA and i applied to
UC:
Davis
Irvine
Merced
Riverside
San Diego
Santa Barbara
Santa Cruz

CSU:
Cal Poly SLO
SDSU
SJSU
Fullerton
Long Beach

I got all C's for the first 2 semesters of college while working full time then i got laid off and kinda went homeless for like 2 weeks, but the last 2 semesters i got all A's and 1 B's, It raised my GPA up from 2.28 to 3.1. I have like 90 semester units overall from changing major so getting A's doesn't really nudge my GPA up very much anymore.

Major: Business Admin(option in accounting)
I got A's on my accounting and Econ classes.

I honestly don’t know. If you have good essays and good extra curriculars you may have a chance at some of the CSU and maybe Merced but even those are reach.

You’re not qualified for UCSB TAG, your GPA is below the 3.2 minimum requirement.
I’m currently a UCI student, was accepted to UCSB with TAG last year but didn’t go due to financial reasons. Your GPA is on the low-side.

So I am going to say, and I say this as my own opinion and experiences, you’ll be rejected from Irvine, SB, SD, and possibly Davis? Not sure about Merced, SC, and Riverside.

@Zooloo I use to be sociology, now an Anthropology major (I applied as a sociology major). I had a 3.39 GPA and was wait-listed to Irvine and San-Diego, but then later got accepted to both. I got accepted to all UC’s except for Berkeley and LA.

thank you for your reply.
which major is easier to get in to uci or ucsd, sociology or economics?
both of them are not impacted majors but just wondering…
