LOW GPA. Chances for UC'S ?

I was wondering if i have any chance of attending any UC's! I have a really low gpa, around 2.8, i know it's really low :( . So please give me your honest opinions, thank you .

Colleges
UC Davis
UC Santa Barbara
UC San Diego
UC Irvine
UC Santa Cruz

GPA (10th & 11th) - 2.89666
Overall- 2.7286
Rank- My school doesn't do that.

SAT: Taking in December

Extracurricular Activities:
* ANC GM (Disabled Community)- For about 3 years, every Sunday (2 hours). I volunteered at the GM Department where we take care of disabled individuals.
* ANC- Nursery Department- 2 years, every Sunday (2 hours)
* World Vision Supporters Club - Representative Staff for 2 years. (Also went to visit the WV H.Q up at Seattle over the summer).
* Korean Club
* One million ways Club
* Summer Camp teacher

Work Experience:
* Dedicated volunteer for GM
* Private Tutoring

Sorry but they all seem to be a reach with a GPA under 3. You can try a CC for 2 years then transfer. But apply just in case. Good Luck!

yeah i guess that is my only choice , aha . thanks tho!
but i was wondering if there is any other decent schools that i may have a chance at ?

you require a minimum of 3 gpa to even apply to the UC system. if you really want to apply, you need to do it by exception or examination.

[University of California - Admission requirements](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/freshman/requirements/index.html)

your list is extremely reachy for your stats. i’m not sure why you would take the sat only once (december is the very last session for this year’s admissions), but i suppose that is your decision. even if you managed to get a 2300 sat, your chances would still be low. it’s better to go the CC route at this point.

based on a realistic sat of ~1600-1700.

UC Davis - high reach
UC Santa Barbara - high reach
UC San Diego - high reach
UC Irvine - high reach
UC Santa Cruz - reach

Minimum GPA requirement for UCs is a 3.0, but it isn’t impossible !
I would consider applying to some CSUs, but that’s up to you !
