Low gpa chances

My GPA is 2.8 will be about 3.1 by the end of my senior year ( unweighted in 4.0 scale)
My low GPA is a result of poor freshman and sophomore grades. 1.9 and 2.3 respectively. I had 3.8 in junior.

I only play basketball in freshman year due to injuries. Was unable to play sports

Sat: 1800 math(650) I kinda choked on the math section was expecting an easy 750+ based off practice tests.

Ap scores:
Ap physics C mech: 5 (/didn’t take class, self studied)
Ap phys1 : 5
Ap calc ab: 5

The main school I’m worried about is uw. I feel confident about wsu and wwu. I know uw really wants high gpas and mine will be about 3.1 by end of senior yr. Thanks. Idk if this would help but I also plan on self studying phys C e&m. Idk if that’s something uw would care about.I appreciate any chances cause I really want to go to uw for the city, and math\physics programs.

uw cares a lot about ur scores - GPA + SAT, since theres not much to do about ur GPA, i’d recommend retaking the SAT and bumping that one up. good luck!

I don’t think you will get into the University of Washington. The others I don’t know much about.

your gpa isn’t the problem, its your test scores. Your gpa is great noting that you took pretty much all AP’s. Just raise those test scores and you’re good bro

Let’s say I got my sat up to 2000, what would my chances be? Thanks

I might be able to get my sat to 2100 but I’m not sure if I should retake or not. I would only do so if I knew I had a good chance of getting accepted with a 2100+. What do you guys think of my chances. Thanks
