Low GPA, Decent SAT?

Hello!
I am currently a senior at a highly rated Public High School in New York. I'm feeling very hopeless about my chances of getting into college. Right now community college is not an option I would see myself being happy with. I have about an 83.4 average unweighted, which I understand to be around a 2.9 GPA.(Not sure because my H.S. doesn't use a 4.0 GPA scale) I have taken 2 SAT's and my highest composite score is 1770/2400. I am taking another SAT in October as well as an ACT. My grades have been on an upward curve throughout High School, and I have taken 3 AP's.

I am heavily involved in many clubs at school, and I have taken 4 service trips to Central America through a club at school. I would prefer to go to a big school, out of state. I have two strong letters of recommendations. I am planning on applying Early Action to most schools. My desired major is International Relations, and my dream school is University of Colorado-Boulder. I have also been looking at Indiana University, U of Georgia, Ohio University, Ohio State, and Michigan State. Do I have any chance of getting in?
Any other suggestions of schools I have a chance of getting into? Financial Aid will not be needed.

Thank You!

Pretty sure an 83 is around a 3.2 but I’m not sure . You should be fine for cu boulder and ohio university . Chances are less for the other schools but it’s definitely not a long shot. Maybe check out Rhode Island you should be good there.

Well if your SAT score can be bumped a little higher, then you would have a very good shot at most of the schools you listed. Good luck!
