Hi, I'm entering my senior year with a lot of questions about college admission. Please be honest and all responses will be greatly appreciated. I go to a very competitive public highschool in VA..about 60-70 students are admitted to UVA.
Right now, I have about 3.4 UW GPA.. bad junior year :(. I have taken all honors/pre-AP and 5 AP classes. I have a SAT score of 2200 CR:620 Math: 800 Writing:780. I have taken ONE SAT II: US history- 690 will be taking Math 2, World History, and retaking US history
I will be taking 4 AP's my senior Year: AP Literature, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Economics (Micro/Macro) ...so a total of 9 AP's

I have a few EC's but I am very passionate about them. I have ran a marathon (placed 3rd in my age), bunch of half-marathons, and bunch of 10-mile events. Also I have volunteered in a program since 5th grade. I have a few officer positions in small clubs, and Im in a lot of honor societies, including NJHS.
Extra Info: I will be taking my first regular class (government) in my senior year. Also, I will be taking my 2nd elective, Human Anatomy, which is a class I'm really interested in. (not counting foreign language class as an elective).

Q's:
Will colleges 'understand' my low GPA?
Will colleges see my regular government class negatively? (I really have no interest in politics/government)
If I receive outstanding grades my senior year, how much of help will it be?

I really want to get into these following colleges: Brown!, Darthmouth, Northwestern (dream schools), Emory, U. of Michigan, UVA, W&M, JMU

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!
