low GPA + high SAT = ???????

okay
so i go to this tiny & crappy private school in Oklahoma.
we never send anyone to ivies

this is my 3rd school in 3 yrs.
freshman: B, B, C, C, B, B( pretty competitive boarding school)
sophomore: A, B, A , A , A, A ( decent private school in AL)
junior: A, A, B, B, A, A ( tiny school in oklahoma)

+

2350 in SAT

do i have a chance for ivies + Uchicago+ Wesleyan + Vassar?
I'm an international student so i need some aid

p.s. even though my grades are sucky, I took the 'hardest' courses in my school.
we don't have any APs though. just all honors.

Whats your actual GPA?
Obviously if your course load is tough it could explain a lot
And if you come from a less represented background it might help

But you see all the people who apply have stellar grades and stuff
If you don’t have such scores you can make it up through great ECs
Ivies are crapshoot …everyone has a shot! So now you have to do extremely well at your essays and extracurriculars
Your SAT is more than perfect

^^ Ivies are a crapshot but it also matters on how the Ivy likes your school. In another district in my state, Stanford likes a school so they admitted 18 kids. Berkeley takes 25 from my school. Columbia hates my school, 94 have applied in the last 3 years 0 acceptances 0 wlists. If your school doesn’t send to Ivies, you could be the one to get in. But, i wouldn’t hold my breath. For Penn, 100 have applied in the last 3 years and only 5 got in. 2 this year, and 3 three years ago.

For your chances, all ivies are high reaches because first and foremost is your gpa. Uchicago- reach. It doesn’t help that you are international and Asian and you need aid. I don’t really think you will get into any of these schools.

For Need Blind, I know that Yale, Harvard, Princeton, and Dartmouth are need blind for internationals.
