SAT plan to take in October again assuming a 1400/2150-2200 ( according to BB tests)

Where would be a match school for me?Safety?Reach?

How about any schools that put a lot of weight on SATs? Anywhere that would offer merit aid for SAT score?

preferably any schools in the city please :]. thank yeww

*Anywhere that would offer merit aid for SAT score?
*

hmmm…maybe some here know of schools that only require a 3.0 GPA for merit with a high SAT. Many require a higher GPA to go with that test score.

Since you’re AA, are you interested in looking at schools that want more diversity and will be more generous?

Will you qualify for need-based aid?

Are you male or female?

What was your past SAT score?

Are you a likely National Achievement Finalist?

What is your major?

Since you’re AA, are you interested in looking at schools that want more diversity and will be more generous?
yea I want schools with diversity :)

Will you qualify for need-based aid?
I do, but I am not sure how much:/ proabably a decent amount
Are you male or female?
female
What was your past SAT score?
2030(600CR 740M 690 WR)( but couldhave jumped 50 points in math but made 2 silly mistakes; unusually ran out of time on writing section and had to rush…and I am working on reading ._.)
Are you a likely National Achievement Finalist?
I thought that was only for PSAT?(which I bombed lol) so I don’t think so

What is your major?
undecided but thinking either math, science, engineering, or Finance

Is an all-girls college ok? How about Mt Holyoke?

*Since you’re AA, are you interested in looking at schools that want more diversity and will be more generous?

yea I want schools with diversity*

I think you misunderstood.

There are schools that don’t have great diversity, so they’re willing to be more generous to get more AA kids on campus.

What states are you interested in? Ohio University has a full tuition ride for SAT’s above 2100 and a 3.0. My nephew is a a soon to be 3rd year there and is very happy with his choice. It’s not in a city, but it’s a beautiful campus and academically challenging, especially if you are admitted into the honors college and I believe you would be. Another school that comes to mind is Lake Forest in IL.

Also, look at the Venure Scholars program. Since you are so strong in math, and AA, I think you may be able to take advantage of their help with some selective schools. You have to have an interest in the sciences or math in order to be accepted into the program. You meet all the criteria. You can look at their site under members to see the list of schools that they work with. Good luck!
