<p>College opinions on a 3.3 GPA w/ upward trend (landing in a 4.0 2nd sem Jr) and a 2300+ SAT</p>
<p>Obviously those statistics don't correlate well. Do I send the message as a lazy student? I got my act together late

<p>Yes of course you come across as a lazy student. Because you WERE lazy student. That said, you will probably still go to a good college.

<p>Yes. I’m a Black male. I was born in Tripoli, Libya if that means anything. I am an American citizen however</p>
<p>Because of the upward trend, I think it shows colleges you were lazy but you are shaping up, especially if you are taking multiple APs. I think as long as you don’t become a stereotypical senior it should be fine. Also, being a URM is good, especially at colleges with low diversity.</p>
<p>I have the same problem with a sucky GPA but pretty good SAT score. However, because I’m Asian and therefore an ORM I do not think I will be ok.</p>
