UB- I didnt apply because merit scholarship deadline has passed (you should still apply, deadline was Jan 1, but I do belive theyre a bit lient. ubtil the 15th)
Honestly, the SUNY system isnt uber competitive. If you apply to the ones you want, write a good, solid essay (solid in terms of content, more so than style and whatnot), decent recs, and hope for the best ;D
I would also recommend the CUNY system, fordham

The ad com on a college tour told the group that low gpa but high sat often indicated a bright student who was lazy, lacked follow through or didn’t put the effort in on a daily basis.
