low GPA & high sat

<p>Rank is what matters, a GPA is only useful when we have the context of the school.</p>

<p>At most top 20 schools, 90 plus percent of the accepted students are in the top 10% of their classes. When you consider that this includes athletes, minorities, legacies etc., it is unlikely many unhooked candidates outside of their school’s top 10% make it in.</p>

<p>I think you would do best at the top tier state schools like UVA, UNC, Michigan and Berkeley because your SAT scores are standout at those schools and they tend to look at numbers over context. Some of them are ranked in the 20’s.</p>
