first of all ur GPA is fine? thats like a 95+? r u dump lol. ur in i think

lol yeahh but that's weighted...meaning without the extra credit for APs and honors i'd be at like..a 3.4

oh totally overlooked that my bad, in light of that i still say you have a solid shot its prob a high match-low reach, 50/50 chance in my mind
chance back

What's your class rank?

The College Data scattergram smiles upon your chances.

<a href="https://www.collegedata.com/cs/admissions/admissions_tracker_result.jhtml?schoolId=1803&classYear=2013%5B/url%5D">https://www.collegedata.com/cs/admissions/admissions_tracker_result.jhtml?schoolId=1803&classYear=2013</a></p>

Plug in your numbers and check it out.

Where else are you applying? My S has similar situation, although SAT's not so high.

you're below average for GPA but not my a ton. your test scores will make up for that.

^^ Only in some cases.

I'd say you get in because of the two 800's. That is hard to do and should (but not for sure) qualify you for admission along with your good EC's.

i think you have a good chance but NU prob. focuses less on test scores than some other schools.

Relax, you're in.

^^ Nothing is guarenteed. You have a good shot, but unfortunately it depends on who else is applying.

bueno shot

Even though Northwestern doesn't pay that much attention to your test scores as they do your class rank and GPA, i think you have an awesome shot!!!! But still, your SAT scores are amazing, and i believe they will accept you!

i'd hope that my ECs and test scores make up for my lowish GPA...though last year a girl from our school with a 3.81 weighted got accepted.

any other views?

Just curious... what do you do as a "candy striper" in St. Peter's Hospital?
