I'd say you have a decent chance. Although your GPA is low, your SATs may make up for it, and your ECs are very varied (the taekwondo amongst your various music-related talents should be an interesting standout). Your work in China should grab their attention, too.

How is a 3.9 GPA low? You almost have a perfect SAT score, great SAT IIs, plus a huge resum

wellll the 3.9 is weighted...meaning it could be rather low if it's unweighted but of course! our school doesnt tell us our ranking or our unweighted GPA

You could calculate your own uw GPA... just go through all your grades giving A's 4.0, B's 3.0, etc. My school doesn't give us our uw GPAs either, but most people figure them out.

Oh hey attention seeker!

The way my school's system works is: A: 4.0, A-: 3.7, B+: 3.3, B: 3.0, C+: 2.7, etc.

You'll probably get a better picture once you've got that number

No I dont think schooled is an attention seeker, 1540/1600 isnt very unusual for Gtown and a 3.9 weighted GPA (perhaps 3.5 uw?) will hurt your chances. I think your E.C.s make up for the gpa, so I would say you have a good chance. I wouldn't be too surprised either way.

Also, if you go to a top top private school the gpa won't hurt in which case you're in.
