Assuming all Rec's are good.
Essays will be excellent.

Is there a compelling reason why your grades were so low the first two years of high school? Your test scores are outstanding. Your GPA makes it SEEM like you don’t apply yourself, so hopefully your essays explain that a little bit. Are you planning to run CC or track at Vassar? If you have decent times, they WILL help you with admissions, and the coaches there are excellent! Have you applied Early Decision 1 or are you waiting for ED2 or RD?

Personally I don’t think that you need to be worried about your GPA since the trend is awesome.

As russianblue said, just elaborate on the trend. Don’t worry too much.
