Freelance work, Slate Magazine
Summer Internship, Obama for America (1,000 applied, 50 were accepted).
Model UN: Club president, junior and senior years, member all years.. Won awards at Brown, Columbia, and Cornell.

Other: have taken two Government courses at Dartmouth. One of those professors will be writing a rec for me. My boss at the Obama campaign will also be writing a rec.

I realize that this is yet another neurotic, over-worrying chances post, but any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Your chances into Harvard, especially with legacy, look quite good. You don't actually have a low GPA at all (what is that, one B?) and your SATs are stellar, as well as the rest of your standardized tests.

Your ECs, especially for the humanities and subjects related, are very good. The top universities are always crapshoots, but I would place your chances for Harvard as decent, at least.

Your chances look good, not great. Your ec's are strong, but one sided (pretty much all academic, no arts or athletics). Legacy at Harvard doesn't matter unless he's an important alum. Obviously being from Hanover hurts your chances too - competing against all the faculty kids and other strong, well prepared students. But all in all I'd say your chances are pretty good for all of them.

A legacy who actually has good stats?

most likely in at harvard.

Thanks, all. pseud08, I don't understand your rationale for how being from Hanover would hurt me. I'm not applying to Dartmouth, after all. Would you mind elaborating?
And does anyone have any idea about the non-Harvard schools? Thanks again.
