Low GPA, High Scoring Dreamer...

Could anyone help me and give some chances answers? I am currently wanting to pursue an education at Harvard or Princeton. I plan on fully utilizing the campus activities by joining and improving clubs greatly. And I intend to start an creativity and education club that would last years and improve the campus. Just wondering? thanks…

Your (presumably unweighted) GPA isn’t as low as you might think. Harvard is a reach obviously, but you’re a competitive applicant.

Chance back? <a href=“FINAL Chance Me! CMU, Cornell, WashU, others - Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1689784-final-chance-me-cmu-cornell-washu-others-p1.html</a></p>

Btw, if you have a tribal ID, use it to your advantage.

Harvard is a reach for everyone. I’d say that you meet their basic qualifications, but I’m not sure that anything on your resume will push you over the top. It’s worth applying, as long as you realize that it is a very long shot and that you should not set your heart on it. I hope you realize that the overwhelming majority of students do not have a remote shot at Harvard, and that it is one of a small number of colleges where your outstanding accomplishments will not practically guarantee you admission. I suggest that you apply Early Decision, and then find a few safe and reach schools with rolling admissions or non-binding Early Action. You will have time to select some other reaches if Harvard rejects or defers you, but you will also have some likely acceptances by the notification date.

Also what are my chances at Dartmouth

No matter what Harvard is a reach, but if I had to bet money on anyone getting in it would be you. Last year at my high school (a private prep, extremely competitive in MA) we had two applicants for Harvard. One was varsity soccer with a 4.1 GPA on a 4.0 and a 2320 SAT. He got denied. The other was a student with a 3.8 GPA and a 2140 SAT and he had his pilots license, was an Eagle Scout, and spoke three languages. He got in. Remember, Harvard looks for the valedictorian as much as they look for the hidden game changer. I think you’re in. If you wanted to maybe up your chances, I’d recommend retaking the ACT in a month and aiming for a 35 or 36 and perfect scores in reading and math. But I still think your in regardless. Good luck!
Thank you all that have given me advice.
