I have about an UW gpa of 3.2 and a W of about 3.5. My Sat score that I got was a 2150 & I also have EC. These include president of chess club (I Also founded), Varsity Volleyball ( 2 Years), a couple clubs and the city council under the youth Advisory. I also have my associates degree & even though I have a 3.5, I have a straight 4.0 in my college transcript. Is it possible for me to be accepted to colleges like UCSD, UCLA, UCI, & maybe even Berkeley?
Please explain this.
High school stats are pretty much irrelevant for transfer applicants.
The UC’s only accept Junior level transfers: 60 semester/90 quarter units. If you are a transfer applicant, your HS grades/test scores are not considered. With a 4.0 college GPA, you should have an excellent chance at these schools.
If however, you have duel enrollment courses in college and you are applying as a Freshman, your HS GPA and college GPA may be evaluated separately. Can you clarify if you are a prospective Freshman or transfer applicant?
I’m a high school student who took duel enrollment in High school and extra classes with the same college during my spare time.
Are you international? Some of your phrasing is quite awkward, which is why I ask. Your GPA is low for most those schools I think. Look at the CSU colleges. If you are international, you will have a very tough time getting in with grades like that.
