Please Chance me for
UCLA
UCSD
Berkeley
CalTech (LOLs)
Rose Hulman
UofChicago (have legacy, relative was top student in his class at Chicago)
UCI
UCR

If it makes any difference i am an Indian and both of my parents were born in India and went to college there. Oh and my gpa has a slight upward trend

ur gpa’s low for upper UCs… =/
UCR should be safety and UCI should be in (b/c of ur test scores)
and UCSD make sure you keep ur grades up! and in/waitlisted
make sure your write awesome essays! (:

sorry i updated some stuff can u view it again plz :D

jw would it make any difference if i got straight A’s 1st semester?

well for perspective…atleast for the UCs…i had a 3.75 UC gpa last yr and about the same ECs as you…and same background lol…got into ucd, ucr, uci, ucsd…rejected from ucla & ucb

BUT ur test scores are higher than mine…sooo u may have a shot at ucla and ucb!
but i think with ur stats…safety: uci, ucr; pretty good shot at ucsd… reach: ucla, ucb
from my knowledge lol

hope that helps!

to answer ur question: everything u can do to help better ur gpa will help b/c it is pretty low…compared to many who are applying. the only thing that’s keeping u up are ur test scores.
also many ppl will have the same ECs as u too…

The UCs only look at UC GPA, which is earned sophomore and junior years.

UCR is safe, UCI could happen, the others are unlikely.

You’re only a legacy at Chicago if a parent attended, and even then, it’s unlikely.

You’re a good candidate for 2 years at a CC to transfer to a top UC.

If you could up your scores to >2300, you’ll stand a much better chance at Caltech.
