Low GPA --> Research work

Hello!

I am a belgian student finishing a master of management next year in a good european school. My problem is that I have a low GPA. I have some work experience (as I have already a part-time job) and had two relevant internships.

I plan to apply to some american grad schools (MIA or equivalent IR program) next fall. My faculty give me the oppurtunity to work one month as researcher in microfinance this summer. This job could be interesting and strengthen my application file, but I am hesitating as I wonder if I should instead take more time to score my GRE...

Please help!
Thanks

Your GRE is important. If you can’t do both, perhaps you should consider taking a year off for additional work and more studying.
