Has anyone with an average below 3.0 got into Temple? If so, did you have really high test scores? Did you apply with the Temple Option? Did you have a lot of ECs? I have a 3.3 and applied with the Temple Option, but I’m worried. I only had one EC.
when did you apply and for what major? i think people with 3.3’s are getting in(although not neccessarily all) depending on major. i know Temple option has been going slower than the non Temple option route.
I applied January 15th. I applied for Nursing. It’s super competitive and my average isn’t the highest, I know. I’m hoping I’ll at least get into the University, even if I’m undecided. I’m an OOS student, so I don’t know if that’ll help or hurt me. Supposedly they mailed a decision out to me a week ago, but I haven’t gotten anything.
be sure to check your email spam folder. My son found his acceptance letter there last year.
I just checked and there’s nothing about Temple Uni there. I guess this means I didn’t get in. But, thank you for telling me. I’ll pass it along to my friends who’ve also applied.
your gpa is on low side for nursing. you should be able to get on temple portal and see if you were accepted or not, are you willing to change ur major to undecided if you don’t get into nursing. if so and you don’t get in, get in touch with admissions and see if there is option to ask them to reconsider your application as an undecided major.
They said 3.25 for consideration, but there are people with 4.0s who have applied. I’ve been trying to check, but it won’t allow me to view my application. It says “authorization failure”. My friend who applied had the same problem.
I’m totally fine with changing my major to undecided. Thank you so much! I’ll try that if I didn’t get in. I can also email them, right?
you can email them, yes. i found calling teh best way to contact admissions though.
I don’t know if you guys wanted to know or not, but I unfourtunately did not get in. I’ll call them and see what happens. Thanks for everything.
we were def curious so thanks for update. the nursing major is one of the hardset admits. hope they will reconsider you as an undecided major. good luck!
