Low GPA...

So I don’t go to the best high school and I wouldn’t say the teachers or students at this school are the best influences,. My cumulative GPA is about a 2.4 (I know its terrible and most of it is my fault). My Junior year has been better, I have averaged a 3.2 for this year so far. I am involved in sports such as indoor track, and I am also in marching band (I play the clarinet), I am also in the African American culture club. I will also be volunteering this summer. I will be taking my SAT in May and because of my good PSAT scores I plan on getting around a 1000-1300 (the new SAT only goes up to 1600). My question is, what colleges should I look into? I understand that my low GPA puts me at a disadvantage but maybe my extracurricular’s will help me somewhat.
My top colleges are…
Drexel
Temple
UIC
UMass Boston
Widener
Montclair State
William Paterson
and Kean
I have many more that I would like to attend but I don’t want to get my hopes up, So if any of you could tell me what kind of chances I have at any schools, or if you would like to recommend some to me, be my guest. Thank you in advance.

Definitely have a shot at Kean and William Paterson. Still have to try to bring your grades up.
