I am concerned with how much a low junior year GPA will weigh me down. I am a strong student in general that has taken on too much work (essential equivalent of 5 AP classes this year), receiving a GPA on the year of around 3.65, bringing HS GPA to around 3.75 (both figures are unweighted). My ACT score is 34 (super score 35). I have many awards in my extra curriculars and am president of two clubs. I am a varsity athlete but am not recruited, am not URM and parents are not alumni/donors at any places I’m applying. How much will the low GPA figure diminish my chances?
Colleges I am considering:
Swarthmore, Stanford, MIT, Harvey Mudd, Pomona, University of Michigan College of Engineering, UC Berkley, Wisconsin-Madison
