when I was in high school I took two college courses as dual enrollment student and my gpa was 2.2 and when i graduated from highschool and started off in college my gpa dropped to 1.69 because of several issues plus my depression and so I couldn’t take the overload from college and work and home, anyway how can I raise my gpa to be 2.5?
- See a doctor (psychiatrist) and get your depression addressed.
- If you are diagnosed with depression, see if you can get a retroactive medical withdrawal from the semester you were in college and had depression. Talk to the Dean of Students about this.
- Try to concentrate on one thing at a time. If you need to work, can you work full time and save for college? And then when you go to college, go full time?
- If you have to work full time, then take less college courses. Take them at your Community College.
- Try to do well in those courses. here are tips: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-life/1920853-college-is-a-step-up-from-hs-16-tips-on-doing-well-in-college.html
- Keep doing well (As and Bs)in your classes and your GPA will get up.
