Anyone get in with a GPA below 3.0? If so, what are your stats?

i don't think anyone can get into even UCI with below a 3.0.

You can't even apply with a GPA below 3.0.

I think they might make some exceptions if you're real close to 3.0, but you'll need crazy good SATs, ECs, etc.

They actually trash your application if you do not meet any requirement. You'll only pass by extreme circumstances presented on the application or in an appeal.

What about the chances of somone near a 3.0 gpa? Like between 3.0 and 3.1 with realy mediocre SAT's? Like 1700 or something.

Most likely not. UNLESS you have an extreme situation such as a family death.

The brutal truth is that UCI will not take you. However, UCR might, if you'r looking at UCs.

btw i dont mean to threadjack but hey, BlinkBlink / Jason, are you guys freshmen at UCI? we should friggen kick it or something. You guys live in Mesa Court by any chance?

I have a 3.02 and am HITE certified for UCI, plus AGS member and wored during CC. SO i think i have good ECs what do you think my chances are for UCI. I think ill get in cuhz im HITE certified.

Hey iloveants. Yea, I'm a freshman in Mesa Court. I'm in Barranca :D. I also miss San Jose =[. I miss the San Jose lovin'.

Damn, Jas0n you're from san jose.. for reals? Which one: MV, Lynbrook, Saratoga, Cupertino, Wilcox... hm... i've got to hit it at least with those schools, right?
and damn, barranca.. walking to the commons must be a biatch.

Walking to commons really is annoying, but our dorms are the newest so it tries to balance it out :x. As usual, people can't guess where I'm from because they name all the higher schools in SJ. I'm actually from east Side San Jose...you know - Yerba Buena, Oak Grove, Evergreen Valley (mine), Mt. Pleasant, James Lick, etc. We go to college too ;]. haha.

i live in cascada with all the cool techies :)
