Essay topic: Thinking of writing about how i was overweight throughout the beginning of high school and how that has affected my athletic ability and how i still proved to be a top tier swimmer even though i was overweight. Also talking about my ADHD.

Schools: Berkley, Washington university (in washington state), UCLA, Cornell, Stanford(i know its not likely but i dunno)

Dude your “good” at everything, but your not “amazing” in any category. Therefore:
UDub (Washington) - Easy
Cal-Berkeley - Low reach (debatable, could be higher or, if you have sickly stellar essays, lower)
UCLA - Low reach
Cornell - reach
Stanford - Dream reach

You just have no clincher

And I think everyone knows that the Young Scholars Program is in the University of …
I’ll play along, even tho my bro went there like four years ago:)

kk thanks haha berkeley is my dream school but i dont mind going to UW

“low gpa??”

darn, you are smart and great at sports… you should have good chances

haha thanks man
btw i was project head of multiple community service programs in key club if that helps anything, i think it counts as leadership from what i heard anyways i have almost no leadership so i hope it helps lol

btw i was wondering what exactly should i do to get to that “amazing” level

amazing level is like:
Jr. Olymp swimming
State/national honors orchestra
Seimens/Intel Finalist
RSI/SSP
Wrote a book and got published
published research
USAMO top xx

The good thing about UCs is that Being Asian doesn’t hurt you.
Get SATs above 2200s, I’m sure you can do that. And get 750+s on your sat subjects

UDub (Washington) - In
Cal-Berkeley - Low reach
UCLA - Low reach
Cornell - reach
Stanford - high reach

Too bad that you’re not in-state for CA, otherwise they might be very good match schools

care to chance me back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/914606-chance-me-ivy-stanford-other-top-schools-please.html

ok also i was wondering if i have enough leadership since the only thing i have is just secretary and project head of some community service things…i would chance back but i have no idea about college entrance lol

It’s “did badly.”

Overall, you’re fine. Don’t freak out about your stats, especially not your GPA.
