I’m a rising sophomore currently taking a pre-calc summer class, and my final grade is (almost definitely) a B. It’s my first B in a sea of A+s, but life goes on. My question, however, is will this B be extremely detrimental to my chances of getting into a good college for a zoology/wildlife biology education. No, right? My school is quite large so the B will obviously hurt my rank, but I also have all A+s and I’m taking all the APs I can… I just wanted some other people’s opinions.
If you’re wondering, I took two math classes over the summer to free up some spaces in my schedule for classes I actually care about/enjoy. I don’t think it backfired…?
****I’m not reaching for Ivies because I plan on studying abroad for the better part of college.
Sincerely,
Every Other Anxious High School Student in the World
